    KIGALI, Rwanda, April 8, 2020/APO Group/ --
    5 new coronavirus cases were identified today, out of 772 samples tested in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 110 (of whom 7 have recovered).
    • 4 contacts of previously confirmed positive cases, who were identified through tracing
    • 1 frequent traveler
    All new cases have been isolated and the tracing of contacts is ongoing. All patients are under treatment in stable condition in designated health facilities. The majority are asymptomatic, and no patient is in critical condition...

      Three new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Rwanda on Thursday, the country’s ministry of health reports, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 113.

      Two of the newly identified cases were in travellers quarantined on arrival to the country, while the third was identified in a person who had been in contact with a previously identified patient. No one has yet died from Covid-19 in the country.
      "The only security we have is our ability to adapt."

        All new cases have been isolated and the tracing of contacts is ongoing. Anyone who withholds information relevant for contact tracing, or knowingly fails to report COVID-19 symptoms, jeopardises public safety and will be punished In accordance with applicable laws.

        All patients are under treatment in stable condition in designated health facilities. The majority are asymptomatic, and no patient is in critical condition.
