As of May 30, 2020, the situation of Coronavirus disease in Burkina Faso is as follows:
242 samples analyzed, go back:
- 164 traveler tests;
- 15 contact case tests;
- 15 suspect case tests;
- 37 hemodialysis tests;
- 11 control tests;
Number of new confirmed cases: 02, all imported;
Number of healings: 06, bringing to 741, the total of healings;
Number of deaths: 00, total of deaths 53;
Number of active cases: 89;
Number of cases confirmed since March 09, 2020: 883 including 322 women and 561 men.
The government thanks all stakeholders for their commitment and determination in the fight against Coronavirus disease.
The government recalls that Coronavirus disease is also transmitted by saliva droplets and nasal secretions and urges everyone to strictly observe the compulsory wearing of a mask or mask to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19.
