Egypt reported 2,007 new coronavirus cases on Friday, topping 2,000 cases for the first time since the outbreak of virus in February 2020 to bring the tally of infections officially reported nationwide since the outbreak of the pandemic in February 2020 to 419,460, stated the Ministry of Health and Population.
