If the US is considered one of the best equipped to identify and track infectious diseases why are they not able to test these samples quickly? The health director for one of the Canadian cases mentioned a quick test followed by a comprehensive confirmatory test; France, Germany, UK - all capable of rapid testing... why is there such a long delay in US? Doesn't make sense.
