    ...The case relates to a woman between the age of 50 and 60, Russell said, adding that she travelled from France.

    “We only received the results late (Wednesday) afternoon,” Russell said. “She phoned ahead to 811 or to the health department, so she wasn’t in an emergency room, and she was taken in for assessment and put in an isolation room.”

    Russell said the woman has been treated, tested, and is in self-isolation at her home in southeastern New Brunswick.

    Health officials are not specifying the exact city for privacy reasons. Russell says her conditions are mild...

    There is a second presumptive case of COVID-19 in the province.

    New Brunswick's chief medical officer of health, Dr. Jennifer Russell made the announcement during a Saturday morning update on COVID-19.

    She said this case involves a man between the ages of 50 and 60 who was a close contact with the person involved in the first case.

    He is from the south-east part of the province...

          New Brunswick has another presumptive case of the coronavirus which brings the provincial total to eight.

          Chief medical health officer Dr. Jennifer Russell says two of those cases have now been confirmed.

          “The new case is a male under the age of ten residing in Zone 3 (central part of New Brunswick). The individual is a close contact of a confirmed travel case.”

          Dr. Russell says it’s expected to see new cases around clusters of close contacts in travel-related cases...

            Three new presumptive cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours, bringing the province's total to 11 confirmed or presumptive cases, the chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell announced on Wednesday.

            She said some New Brunswickers are not following the government's advice to stay home to help prevent the spread of the "serious health threat" and she expects there will be "many" in the next few days.

            Premier Blaine Higgs said mandatory measures could soon follow.

            "We aren't there yet but as a province and as a country we will do what is necessary to keep residents safe," he told reporters during the daily update in Fredericton...

                        HALIFAX -- There are 12 new cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick and all but one are linked to travel, said Dr. Jennifer Russell, the province's chief medical officer of health.

                        Russell said one is "being investigated as a possible case of community transmission" and brings the total in the province to 45.

                          New Brunswick has detected six new cases of COVID-19 in the province, bringing the total number of cases to 51 as of Saturday.

                          There was no in-person update on Saturday, but according to a press release from the province’s department of public health, the cases include:

                          An individual aged 50-59 in the southeast of the province
                          An individual aged 70-79 in the southeast of the province
                          Two individuals aged 20-29 in the south of the province
                          An individual aged 50-59 in the south of the province

                              Dr. Jennifer Russell, the province's chief medical officer of health, says the pharmacies where the employee worked were closed and disinfected.

                              "The pharmacy contacted public health officials and were given recommendations regarding environmental cleaning," Russll said. "They have followed protocols and reopened."...
