MSPP has released another week's worth of cholera statistics on its Documentation page, bringing us up to August 15. All told, another 1,232 cholera cases were recorded between August 9-15, for a total of 585,915 since October 2010.
As usual, the numbers don't quite add up: On August 8, 7,509 cholera deaths had been reported since the start of the outbreak in October 2010. On August 9, another 3 deaths were reported, but the deaths total dropped to 7,507. Two more deaths were reported for August 13 and 15, and the total is now 7,509 again. But for all anyone knows, the real total could be twice that.
