I think the door is probably shut on any further public disclosures about the deaths of the doctors. Apparently the democratic reforms in Egypt are not. Not hopeful since the Port Said provincial health department reversed itself on the H5N1 status of the case that was transferred last week to a known "bird flu" hospital in Dakahalia. So.....

Egypt is without any doubt another example of an 'empty belly democracy': formal elections are performed but people have not the basic human, social and economic rights known in the old western (most ruined) democracies.

Other examples of such kind of faulty systems are Iraq, Afghanistan, most of former USSR states, certain eastern European countries, and these regions are usually at the borders of major Powers influence zones (ie Russia/NATO, Russia/China, China/US, US/C America, etc.)

Human lives in these regions are quite expendable, no respect paid to frails, elderly people, children, women, diseased...
