Mexico City .- Until Jan. 4, 68 thousand had confirmed 548 cases of influenza A (H1N1) and 867 deaths from this cause.
The four states most affected are the Federal District, San Luis Potosi, State of Mexico and Jalisco. In these four entities with 70 percent of cases around the country.
In this regard, Alejandro Macias Hernandez, special commissioner to the attention of the influenza A (H1N1) in Mexico, noted that the situation of this new virus in the country is stable and even represents a break, although there are still cases in the Mexican Republic.
Separately, the Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova felt that with the implementation of the vaccine against this disease to 30 million people, "it is likely that this disease is rather historical and next December. Also, the secretary revealed that the laboratories that manufacture vaccines are committed to deliver the remainder of January, almost all of the 30 million vaccines to be bought to be applied across the population.
Regarding the cases of influenza, the report of the Ministry of Health notes that Mexico City is by far the most affected state, with 7 thousand 797 cases, followed by San Luis Potosi 4 thousand 311 cases.
