Child dies from vaccination side effects

immunizationHWANGE - A five-year-old boy from Jambezi area has died from the side effects of a vaccination. Nkosi Moyo died at Victoria Falls Hospital while awaiting treatment for the side effects. ?I blame the Health Ministry?
His father, Talent Moyo said:
"Nkosi had high blood pressure and nose bleeds after his vaccination. At first we thought it was the usual side effects, but by the time we took him to the hospital, his condition had deteriorated and he passed away. I blame the Health Ministry because the vaccines they gave my son caused his death. After the burial, we will pursue legal means."
Thousands of children countrywide who were vaccinated last month against measles and polio fell ill. This has raised questions about how the exercise was conducted.
The Deputy Minister of Health and Child Welfare, Douglas Mombeshora, told The Standard newspaper that ?The public must understand each time a child is vaccinated it is normal to have side effects such as vomiting and high temperatures?.
