Zimbabwe’s ministry of health and child care has announceD that the current cholera outbreak in the country has affected the districts of Bikita, Bindura, Chiredzi, Chipinge, Kariba, Goromonzi, Mazowe and Shamva.
The farming town Glendale in the Mazowe district, located about 70 kilometers north of Harare, is one of the epicentres of the outbreak. Residents there are appealing to the government to take urgent action to end the spread of the disease...

Zimbabwe has recorded 44 confirmed cases of cholera since the latest outbreak started in November last year, the Ministry of Health and Child Care said Tuesday night.
According to a report released by the ministry, 10 new suspected cases were reported Tuesday and confirmed cholera deaths remained at two.

HARARE, March 14, 2025 – Zimbabwe has confirmed 124 cases of cholera since the onset of a new outbreak last November, Health and Child Care Minister Douglas Mombeshora announced on Friday.
During a press conference in the capital city of Harare, Mombeshora reported that the nation has recorded 15 confirmed deaths, along with 608 suspected cases and 566 recoveries.
Six out of ten provinces have been affected, with the majority of recent cases emerging in the Central Mashonaland province, according to the minister.
