Third death as flu soars in Yemen

SANA'A, Sep. 20 (Saba) - Yemen reported on Sunday a third national had died from the swine flu as it announced 9 more infected cases, that brought the total number of the confirmed cases in the country to 155.

The second death from the pandemic was announced three days ago while the first death was reported on August 19.

Director general of the anti-diseases and pandemic monitor section at the Ministry of Public Health and Population Abdul Hakim Al-Kuhlani said 104 out of the infected cases had recovered, adding the authorities work around the clock receiving alerts about the flu and taking necessary measures to detect new cases and treat them.
