Human cases: 1626 notified with 684 discarded, 478 suspected, and 464 confirmed cases with 154 YFV associated fatalities reported by Brazil MOH as of 16 February Non-Human Primate (NHP) cases: 3481 notified, 722 discarded, 1018 suspected, 499 confirmed and 1242 "not determined" cases reported by Brazil MOH as of o7 February. As in previous season, the southeast with Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is the mostly affected area. Compared to the 2016-2017 YFV season, the number of confirmed cases and YFV associated fatalities is higher in the 2017-2018 when compared to EW 06/2017 although the number of suspected cases is lower in the 2017-2018.
