Human cases: 1286 notified, 510 discarded, 423 suspected, and 353 confirmed cases with 98 YFV associated fatalities reported by Brazil MOH as of 07 February Non-Human Primate (NHP) cases: 3481 notified, 722 discarded, 1018 suspected, 499 confirmed and 1242 "not determined" cases reported by Brazil MOH as of o7 February As in previous season, the southeast with Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is the mostly affected area. Compared to the 2016-2017 YFV season, the number of confirmed cases and YFV associated fatalities is higher in the 2017-2018 when compared to EW 05/2017 although the number of suspected cases is lower in the 2017-2018.
