World Health Organization has called for not taking any anti-virus, such as Alooseltamifir or Alzanamifir, and individuals should not buy drugs to prevent or combat this new virus without a prescription, claim to be the purchase of antivirals, especially via the Internet.

أكدت المنظمة تلقيها حتى الآن، بلاغات بوقوع 156 حالة إصابة مؤكَّدة مختبرياً بفيروس الأنفلونزا الجديد (H1N1 A)، دون أى وفيات، من اثنى عشر بلداً من بلدان فى إقليم شرق المتوسط هى: الأردن (12 حالة)، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (حالتان)، البحرين (15 حالات)، عمان (3 حالات) فلسطين(8 حالات) قطر (3 حالات)، الكويت (18 حالة)، لبنان (12 حالات)، مصر (39حالة)، المغرب (6 حالات) والمملكة العربية السعودية (34 حالات) اليمن (4 حالات).​

The organization received so far, reports of 156 laboratory-confirmed case of a new influenza virus (H1N1 A), without any deaths, from a dozen countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region are: Jordan (12 cases), United Arab Emirates (two cases), Bahrain (15 cases), Oman (3 cases) Palestine (8 cases) Qatar (3 cases), Kuwait (18 cases), Lebanon (12 cases), Egypt (39 cases), Morocco (6 cases), Saudi Arabia (34 cases ) Yemen (4 cases).

وأعلنت المنظمة أنه يمكن الوقاية من الإصابة بالعدوى بتجنّب مخالطة الأشخاص الذين تظهر عليهم أعراض شبيهة بأعراض الأنفلونزا عن كثب (محاولة الحفاظ على مسافة تناهز متراً واحداً إذا أمكن ذلك مع تجنّب لمس الفم والأنف؛ وغسل الأيدى جيداً بالماء والصابون أو تكرار تنظيفها بمحلول كحولى خصوصاً بعد لمس الفم أو الأنف أو مسطّحات يُحتمل تلوّثها بالفيروس؛ تجنّب مخالطة الحالات المشتبه فيها عن كثب؛ الحد، قدر الإمكان، من الفترة التى تُقضى فى الأماكن المزدحمة؛ تحسين تدفق الهواء فى المساكن بفتح النوافذ؛ اتباع الممارسات الصحية بما فى ذلك قضاء فترة نوم كافية وتناول أطعمة مغذية والحفاظ على النشاط البدنى.​

The organization said that it could be the prevention of infection by avoiding contact with people who show symptoms of influenza-like symptoms closely (try to maintain a distance of about one meter, if possible, avoid touching the mouth and nose; and wash your hands well with soap and water or cleaning solution of the recurrence of alcohol, especially after touching the mouth or nose or surfaces potentially contaminated with HIV; avoid contact with suspected cases closely; reduction, to the extent possible, the period spent in crowded places; to improve the flow of air by opening windows in the housing; health practices, including the period spent sleeping enough and eating foods nutrients and maintaining physical activity.
