Woman, 89, Among Latest County H1N1 Victims

SAN DIEGO -- The swine flu pandemic has claimed two more lives in San Diego County, health officials announced Wednesday.
The latest victims are an 89-year-old woman and a 55-year-old woman, both of whom had underlying medical conditions, according to the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency. The 55-year-old woman was not a resident of San Diego County.
So far, there have been 28 deaths of San Diego County residents linked to the H1N1 influenza and four deaths of non-residents, according to the HHSA. There have been 492 people hospitalized with the virus locally.
