Three Flu-Related Deaths Reported in Northeast Wisconsin

(WFRV) - The number of flu-related deaths in Wisconsin continues to rise, and the latest have taken place in Northeast Wisconsin.

A new report released by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services shows three more children have died because of complications with Influenza.

Local 5 News has confirmed that the three children who died lived in Northeast Wisconsin. One in Brown County, one in Outagamie County, and one in Winnebago County.

That brings the total number of pediatric flu-related deaths in Wisconsin to five, second highest in the nation. A 26-year-old nurse from Kenosha has also died of complications from influenza.
