COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. (AP) -- Health officials say a middle school student in the Monona Grove School District has been diagnosed and treated for an E. coli infection.
The student attends Glacial Drumlin School in Cottage Grove. Public Health Madison and Dane County spokesman Jeff Golden tells the Wisconsin State Journal that it appears to be an "isolated case."
Golden says the student's sibling also exhibited symptoms, but the infection had not been confirmed.

MONROE, Wis. -- The investigation into E. coli cases in Green County is continuing as health officials are now reporting more cases.
After several confirmed cases earlier this month, three more cases of E. coli have been confirmed in students at Abe Lincoln Elementary School as a result of screening efforts by the Green County Health Department and Monroe School District.
... Since early October, the total number of E. coli cases reported in Green County is eight, including seven infections among 4K and kindergarten students at Abe Lincoln Elementary school and one adult family member of a confirmed case, the Green County Health Department said.
