PORTAGE COUNTY (WAOW)--A second person from Central Wisconsin has died from the H1N1 virus, this time in Portage County.
Health leaders will only say the person had an underlying condition was being treated at a Marshfield hospital. They aren't saying if it was a man or woman, or how old they were.
A 12-year-old Wausau girl also died from the virus earlier this summer.
This latest death brings the statewide H1N1 death toll to 6.
Federal numbers show Wisconsin has 6000 reported cases of the virus, the most in the nation.
