A MERSEYSIDE schoolgirl died from pneumonia after being sent home from school with flu symptoms, an inquest heard.
Lucy Williams was given paracetamol and Calpol by her mum Cathy after being picked up from South Wirral high school, where she was in her first year.
The 11-year-old, of Fairway South, Bromborough, remained unwell the following day and went to bed early.
