Wife Speaks Out After Healthy Man Dies from Swine Flu

Despite having several swine flu symptoms, Las Vegan Richard McDowell was initially diagnosed with pneumonia and sent home four different times before landing in the hospital. When he was finally tested and diagnosed with H1N1, he was too sick to be saved.

Despite all the headlines, Elizabeth McDowell says it never occurred to her or her sick husband that he could have swine flu. He was 51-years-old, in generally good health, and looking forward to elective knee surgery next month.
