Dane County faces surge in whooping cough cases: 66 confirmed infections

MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County is experiencing a large increase in whooping cough cases, with 66 confirmed infections reported as of Wednesday.

Amanda Kita-Yarbro, an epidemiologist with Public Health Madison & Dane County, says an outbreak is not uncommon but could be dangerous for people with weakened immune systems.​..
