The World Health Organization has released a preliminary report showing estimates of radiation doses received after the outbreak of the crisis at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant within and outside Japan.
This is the first estimate of its kind to include both Japan and neighboring countries.
According to the report, the highest estimate of both internal and external exposure was 10 to 50 millisieverts in Namie and Iitate, both within expanded evacuation zones and the no-entry zone within 20 kilometers of the crippled nuclear plant...
