Please be advised that the WHO Director-General is convening the ninth Meeting of the Emergency Committee on MERS-CoV under the International Health Regulations (IHR 2005). The meeting will take place on Tuesday 16 June 2015 .
The objectives of this ninth Meeting include to:
(1) provide technical updates on the epidemiology of MERS-CoV; and
(2) provide advice on any future actions in relation to MERS-CoV
The meeting will be held by teleconference from WHO Headquarters in Geneva.
A WHO statement giving an account of the Meeting and its conclusions will be posted on the WHO public website and be distributed accordingly.
