WHO Guidance on Pandemic Influenza Preparedness and Response-Request for comments on draft document
WHO invites Member States, technical institutions, subregional, regional and international organizations, whether governmental or nongovernmental, and all experts concerned with pandemic influenza preparedness to participate in a web-based review of draft WHO guidance on Pandemic Influenza Preparedness and Response (2008). Comments will be accepted online from 15 October through 3 November.
How to participate
To receive a copy of the draft document, please send an email request to: WHOInfluenza@who.int. You will be sent an electronic copy of the document and a declaration of interests form.
After reviewing the document, should you wish to submit comments, please complete the declaration of interests form and return it to the secretariat.
Please note that the completion of the declaration of interests is a prerequisite for any comments to be considered. Send the signed, completed form either electronically to the secretariat at WHOInfluenza@who.int or by fax to: +41 22 791 4878.
Following receipt of your completed request, you will be provided with login credentials to a web-based application where comments can be submitted.
Comments should be received by 3 November 2008. No comments received after 3 November 2008 can be considered.
Following this review, a revised and updated WHO pandemic influenza preparedness and response guidance document is scheduled for publication in December 2008.
