Here at Wheeling Catholic Elementary today they tried to hold school, but it was no good. Too many kids and teachers were sick from a flu that has swept its way through the building. They have 78 kids here. 30 did not come, and ten were sent home by nurse Judy Miller. Not only that. Three teachers are ill and so is the School Principal. There not much you can do except shut down, and they have, through Wednesday. They will try to sanitize the school now with Lysol and other disinfectants. They hope to resume classes here on Thursday with all 78 kids, all the teachers plus the principal.
