1326 (+33) neuroinvasive/653 (+9) non-neuroinvasive (total: 1984) human WNV infections with 121 (+6) WNV associated fatalities reported by the CDC and state PHD as of 21 December, representing an increase of 42 cases compared to last report published on 06 December respectively. As in prior weeks and in 2016, the majority of cases are reported from California.
