Shortly after hitting the winning shot that secured his team's perfect season in an overtime game, a high school basketball player in Fennville, Mich., collapsed on the court Thursday night and later died.

Wes Leonard, 16, collapsed moments after being hoisted into the air by jubilant teammates...

...The cause of death has not been determined, although Leonard reportedly was recovering from the flu...

An abrupt loss of heart function and reduced pumping because of an enlarged heart, otherwise known as dilated cardiomyopathy, took the life of Fennville basketball star Wes Leonard on Thursday night...
