Cases of Norovirus Confirmed at George Washington University

Washington University says about 85 student cases of gastrointestinal illness that have been identified since Monday originated from norovirus.
The George Washington University Student Health Service confirmed this through testing conducted in coordination with the D.C. Department of Health.
The university says there is no single commonality among the cases. The school says students, faculty and staff are encouraged to take preventative measures to prevent the spread of norovirus, including washing hands frequently and disinfecting surfaces. ... Students with symptoms may seek advice from the GW Student Health Service in person or by phone, by calling the clinical line at 202-994-6827, which is available during regular office hours and after-hours.
