The national government again turned on the alarm at the emergence of influenza A H1N1 infections in different parts of the country.

The Minister of Social Protection, Diego Palacio, recommended to health centers to be on alert for possible infections.

The Minister noted that among the cities where they have detected new cases is Bogot? and Tolima.

"We must be very careful, we had some new cases, and this requires that citizens we are aware that the virus still exists, that is present throughout the country," said Palacio.

The national government ordered a new sweep to determine how many new infections have been recorded throughout the national territory in the coming months.
