AUGUSTA, Ga. ? Officials at an eastern Georgia hospital say they're restricting patient visits to try preventing the flu from spreading.
Representatives at Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta said Monday that friends and relatives under the age of 12 are being restricted from visiting patients.
Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at the Georgia Regents Medical Center, Dr. Kevin Dellsperger, says the facility has an obligation to protect those who are vulnerable to influenza from potentially being exposed to it.
