HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) - Saint Mary's Hospital in Henrico County says nearly a dozen children with suspected cases of Enterovirus-68 or EV-D68 have been admitted in the past 48-hours...

...Doctors at Saint Mary's say while it's too soon to confirm what made the children sick, ten kids admitted here suffered from the same symptoms as EV-D68.

"What we can tell you is these children do seem to have a sudden onset of respiratory illness that involves wheezing, fever and an ammonia like picture," says Dr. William Lennarz, the Chief Medical Officer of Pediatrics for Bon Secours Health System...
