Dr. Racaniello, what are you personally doing in response to the ebola case in New York City? At this time are you changing anything in your daily routine? If so, what?
"I am not changing anything in response to the NYC Ebola patient, except to communicate more about the virus. I will still take the subway and move around New York as usual. The risk of acquiring infection is very small and no one here should worry. It's more likely that we will acquire influenza virus, enterovirus, or any number of otherviral infections. As always good hand hygiene is important!"
