VIHA reports pair of influenza-related deaths
Daily News February 17, 2011 Two influenza-related deaths have occurred within the last two weeks, the Vancouver Island Health Authority confirmed on Wednesday.
One woman and another person were seen at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Officials could not confirm exactly when or where the patients died but the deaths are believed to be linked to H3N2, a strain of influenza different to last year's virulent H1N1 strain.
