Quang Ngai province announced bird flu in the Son Tinh District, and prohibits the sale, transport and slaughter of poultry and other animals to avian influenza infected birds in outbreak areas. PPC requires the agricultural sector, Son Tinh district People's Committee to expeditiously apply the urgent measures aimed at prevention and spread.

Quang Ngai Province recently announced bird flu (H5N1) in Son Tinh district.

According to the Veterinary Department for the month 10-2011 Quang Ngai province, the bird flu in the Son Tinh District has strongly re-outbreak of poultry disease, destroying about 20,000 children and still are spread over wide area.

PPC requirements during service, the absolute prohibition of trade, transport and slaughter of poultry in Son Tinh.

On 31/10/2011, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said Son Tinh district, on 21 / 8 to 13/10/2011 in the district occurred avian influenza. Total poultry were destroyed on 17,289 children required, of which 16,092 ducks, 1,197 chickens, cua15 households in 07 villages in 5 communes (Tinh Phong, Tinh Tho, Hoa Tinh, Ha Tinh Indian and Western). The bird flu situation in Son Tinh district went ahead and had a tendency to spread.

As reported by People's Son Tinh district, 02 communes in Tinh Son Tinh Tho and bird flu have discovered, as prescribed, they must send samples of poultry tests mentioned above, if the result is positive flu DPC decision destruction. However, to date the provincial Department of Animal Health and Veterinary Station district reported all targets for sampling poultry in Son Tinh district. Son Tinh district People's Committee also asked the provincial Veterinary Bureau supports the district to send test samples as required, as a basis for the decision to destroy infected poultry. /...

Quang Ngai: two districts have discovered bird flu

Nguyen Dinh Tuan, the Director of Animal Health Department said Quang Ngai, on 6/Nov, the province found two more districts and Nghia Binh Son district has bird flu, bringing the total number of local flu poultry on three districts.

At Tu Nghia District, bird flu was discovered in 2700 the flock rises Chung family's third team, and population groups An Bang, Song Ve town. In Binh Son district, bird flu was discovered on the flock of three households in Binh Trung and Binh Chanh with a total of 4,000 poultry infected children. Immediately after the determination of avian influenza, veterinary stations Nghia and Binh Son district has culled all poultry infected with numbers, and zoning and disinfect the surrounding area to prevent disease from spreading.
