1. Avian influenza

During the day, no new outbreak reported from provinces.

Currently, the province does not have a bird flu epidemic.

I. Situation

A. The avian influenza

Thanh Hoa: From 19/01/2012 until 30/01/2012, bird flu has occurred in 06 of 02 farms and rural customs Phuc Xa commune Democratic Forces, Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province as sick, 278 dead birds (of which 276 ducks, 02 chickens); forced to destroy all of the 06 poultry farms a total of 822 birds (including 800 ducks, 22 chicken).

From 30/01/2012, incurring no sick poultry, suspected bird flu deaths in the district.

Veterinary Department of Thanh Hoa province, together with local authorities implement the necessary measures for prevention services.

Department of Animal Health has granted one million doses of vaccine strains of avian influenza H5N1 Re-5 for local outbreak vaccination enclosure.

Currently, the country still Thanh Hoa province has not bird flu 21 days
