HO CHI MINH CITY, March 5 (Xinhua) -- H5N1 bird flu infection was found in Ke Sach district of Vietnam's southern Soc Trang province, with the fowls infected for less than 21 days, according to the Preventive Medicine Agency under the Ministry of Health on Thursday.
A report from the Soc Trang Veterinary Department said the reported H5N1-infected poultry were raised by a family in Dai Hai commune of the district, and more than 1,100 two-month-old fowls were culled...

Avian flu outbreak reported in Mekong delta province
The Department of Preventive Medicine, a part of the Ministry of Health, yesterday announced an outbreak of A/H5N1 avian flu in a farm at Dai Hai commune, in Ke Sach District of the Mekong delta province of Soc Trang.
