Outbreak of foot and mouth disease in Lai Chau
Foot and mouth disease is currently spreading in Muong Te district in the northern province of Lai Chau.
Around 141 buffalos and cows in 4 villages have been infected with the disease, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development reported on January 6.
The working group from the provincial Department of Animal Health has helped local people sterilize the infected areas to prevent the spread of the disease.
