1. Avian

Ca Mau: On February 12, 2010, avian influenza has occurred on the 2001 Forum ducks households in hamlets 12A, Khanh Binh Dong commune, Tran Van Thoi District. Total of 125 ducks died in the total population 500. On February 22, 2010, avian influenza occurred in 2001 households in 10 hamlets, communes Nguyen Pot, U Minh district. Number of 62 birds infected ducks.

All of the birds were destroyed. Thus, from the outbreak (December 26, 2009) to present, in Ca Mau, avian influenza has occurred in 09 communes of 04 districts in U Minh, Thoi Binh, Tran Van Thoi and Ca Mau City.

Khanh Hoa: On February 24, 2010, avian influenza has occurred on the Forum's 770 chickens 01 households in Ninh Phung, Ninh Hoa district and quail birds of the 6000 households in 01 communes in Van Phu, Van Ninh district. All of the birds were destroyed. Currently, localities are taking measures prevention services as prescribed.

Currently, both countries 05 provinces including Ca Mau, Dien Bien, Soc Trang, Nam Dinh and Khanh Hoa avian influenza has 21 days.
