Department of Animal Health would report on avian flu, foot and mouth epidemic of cattle and swine blue ear as follows:

I. Situation

1. Avian Influenza

Today, there are no reports of new outbreaks arising from the local.

Currently, the province does not have bird flu. (Bird flu outbreak last happened on 07/23/2010 at Hrung commune Ia, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province).

2. Foot and Mouth Disease

Today, there are no reports of new outbreaks arising from the local.

Currently, the province does not have translated LMLM (Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak finally happened on 5/17/2010 at The Ngo commune, Xin Man district of Ha Giang province).

3. PRRS swine

Today, no province had incurred additional services; in some localities are translated, arising infected pigs, as follows.

Kien Giang: On 06/9/2010, PRRS continues to arise more in 24 households in 13 communes in 03 districts Giong Rieng and Tan Hiep and Rach Gia city. Pigs infected herd of 206 children in 402 children; of death and destruction is 86 children.

Long An: On 06/9/2010, PRRS continues to arise more in 38 households in 04 districts of Duc Hoa, Chau Thanh, Tan Thanh and Tan An town. Pigs infected herd is 834 children in 876 children, including 92 dead and destroyed.

Currently, there are 29 provinces of Nghe An, Cao Bang and Soc Trang, Tien Giang, Long An, Binh Duong, Bac Lieu, Quang Nam, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Da Nang, Vinh Long, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak , Hau Giang, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria Vung Tau, An Giang, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Kon Tum, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Binh Thuan and Tra Vinh ear Green is not over 21 days.

II. PUBLIC prevention
