(QNO) - After recording an outbreak of influenza A/H5N1 in Que Xuan 1 commune, on November 28, the People's Committee of Que Son district issued an official dispatch requesting focus on drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions to prevent avian influenza A/H5N1 virus in the district.
On November 21, an outbreak of avian influenza A/H5N1 appeared in the chicken flock of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lieu's household (Duong Mong village, Que Xuan commune 1) with 200 infected chickens. After taking samples and testing positive for influenza A/H5N1 virus, the professional branch of Que Son district and local authorities destroyed all infected chickens according to regulations....
