Earlier on Friday the Ministry of Health had reported 202 positive cases.

To date, 900 cases classified as suspects are in the science phase of analysis to determine the presence or absence of virus. A large number of cases under study are related to people living in Caracas.

"Until the last few hours we had over 900 people suspected of influenza A, distributed across the country and concentrated especially in Merida, found responsible for public health.
