Abstract
Comparison of an ELISA for the detection of IgG antibodies against pandemic-H1N1-09 influenza virus employing recombinant hemagglutinin protein of the virus and hemagglutination-inhibition (HI) employing 783 sera showed concordance of 98.4% suggesting utility of ELISA in sero-surveillance. 269 (100%) sera with >/= 20 HI titer were ELISA reactive.
