KEARNS, Utah ( ABC 4 News)- ABC 4 is taking action for a Kearns woman. She says the Thomas Jefferson Junior High School in Kearns has ten confirmed cases of H1N1 swine flu.

ABC 4's Kerry Kinsey talked by phone to Laurie. She says her son goes to the school and came home and made her sick. She says when she went to the InstaCare in Taylorsville Monday they said. Laurie says, " And they told us at InstaCare that there were ten cases at Thomas Jefferson Junior High. Ten cases of swine flu, yes."

At the Granite School District Ben Horsley says ten is an over exaggeration. The Salt Lake Valley Health Department says there are four confirmed cases of swine flu at the junior high. Pam Davenport of the health department says she believes the other 6 so called cases could be regular cases of Influenza.

You have to love news stories like this when you are a FluTracker.

The reality is, it would be better if they were all 2009 H1N1. That way it wouldn't have the chance to reassort with the existing H1N1 and pick up the Tamiflu resistance....
