Whooping cough outbreak investigated in Weber County

OGDEN -- The Weber-Morgan Health Department is investigating an outbreak of whooping cough in Weber County.
The department is talking with more than 30 people who include family members and students attending Wahlquist Junior High, Plain City Elementary and Evergreen Montessori Academy. School officials sent letters alerting parents to the outbreak this week.

East High School fighting whooping cough outbreak

Seven East High School students were kept home from school on Thursday while school officials and the Salt Lake County Health Department worked to contain an outbreak of whooping cough.
