New case of bird flu confirmed at Cache County zoo

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — Utah officials announced a new case of bird flu at a zoo in Cache County on Friday.

The highly contagious Avian Influenza (HPAI) was confirmed in Cache County on Thursday at the Zootah facility in Logan by Utah Department of Agriculture and Food officials. Zootah features one of the largest collections of birds in the region.
