On Wednesday, October 21, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Alex Azar will meet with CDC Director Robert R. Redfield, M.D. and agency leadership to discuss the ongoing COVID-19 response and Operation Warp Speed. Following the meeting, the Secretary and Dr. Redfield will host a press briefing.

Location CDC Roybal Campus, 1600 Clifton Rd. NE, Atlanta
Register Members of the media MUSTpre-register by calling the CDC Media Office at 404-639-3286 or emailing media@cdc.gov no later than 1 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 21 with subject line “CDC Press Briefing”. Please include the name of your media organization, names of those who will attend, position (camera, still photographer, reporter) and email address. A confirmation will be sent by CDC.
All attendees must be U.S. citizens and present government-issued picture identification. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Please arrive at the CDC Visitor’s Center (1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta) no later than 3:00 p.m. All visitors to CDC are required to go through a security and health screening. All visitors must abide by CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines, which includes wearing a mask and maintaining distance of at least 6 feet from other people.
Important Instructions
