A patient who passed the CDC Ebola screening process has been transferred from Seton Medical District in Harker Heights to Temple Scott & White.

Seton spokesperson Melissa Purl says the patient came in to the Harker Heights hospital Saturday morning with no one else in the waiting room.

Purl says doctors told her they do not believe it is Ebola and it could be the flu or malaria, but they're taking every precaution.

Patient transferred to Temple S&W for possible Ebola, cleared CDC screening

A patient transferred from Seton Medical District in Harker Heights to Temple Scott & White does not meet criteria and will not be tested for Ebola.
