Real gross domestic product (GDP) decreased at an annual rate of 0.9 percent in the second quarter of 2022, following a decrease of 1.6 percent in the first quarter. The smaller decrease in the second quarter primarily reflected an upturn in exports and a smaller decrease in federal government spending.

Through the magic of revision the negative GDP in the 2nd quarter of 2022 was revised today - years later - to a positive. See below.

Does anyone wonder why no one believes anything that the US gov says? Even when they are telling the truth? The line between truth and blatant lying is blurred. The trust is broken.

I do not wonder why people do not take the vaccines, do not evacuate, or do not believe financial data. Remember when the gov kept saying that inflation was only temporary? Everyone I talk to says their grocery bill has doubled. Insurance has doubled and tripled.

Look at how the US is handling the fact that we are living in an H5N1 avian flu environmental soup? Getting some vaccines ready...ok....for what % of the population? Well - the government says the risk is low so I guess we have nothing to worry about. We can always revise that history too. After all, weren't we told the pandemic is over?
