“Currently, we do not have enough data to be able to say with confidence that the vaccines can prevent transmission,” Fauci said in a tweet during an online Q&A session. “So even if vaccinated, you may still be able to spread the virus to vulnerable people.”

Even though numbers are down, I think we are just back to pre-Thanksgiving numbers. Superbowl tomorrow so they might go up a bit. For COVID specific trends, I think numbers need to go further down to see real improvement. I'd love to see overall hospital capacity and mortality data going back 5-10 years. I think CDC compared to the year before the pandemic, but I'd like to see longer trends.
