Press Briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials

Tomorrow at 11:00 AM ET, the White House COVID-19 Response Team and federal public health officials will hold a press briefing to discuss the status of the federal government’s COVID-19 pandemic response. This will be the first of regular briefings from the COVID-19 Response Team in the Biden Administration’s commitment to providing regular information sharing around pandemic response efforts and coronavirus developments.

Participants will include:

• Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical advisor to the president
• Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force Chair
• Andy Slavitt, Senior Advisor to the White House COVID-19 Response Team
• Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
• Jeff Zients, White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator
